The Farnham Pottery and Birdworld are teaming up to offer you a unique opportunity to capture the charm and personality of the resident penguins in clay sculptures.

Your day will begin with meeting Squid and his friends during the morning feed. You’ll have the chance to get up close, take photos, and sketch, using the encounter as inspiration for your very own penguin sculpture.

CLAY TALK with STUART CAREY

Stuart Carey is a London-based master potter, his work earned prestigious awards such as the Homes & Gardens Designer Award for “Use of Materials” and the Elle Decoration British Design Award for “Best Craft Maker”. Collaborations followed with brands like Calvin Klein and a limited-edition project for John Lewis, demonstrating his versatility and reach.
Join Stuart to explore his personal evolution, collaborations, and the interconnected roles of making, teaching, writing, and community-building in contemporary ceramics.
