Nerikomi Talk and Workshop with
Ben Davies

We’re delighted to announce the next CLAY social with Nerikomi artist Ben Davies
​
​During the talk, Ben will share more about his artistic journey, his sources of inspiration, and the techniques he has refined over the years. It promises to be an insightful and engaging conversation.
In the workshop, participants will explore Ben’s take on traditional Nerikomi techniques, working with layered coloured clays to create striking patterns. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own pinch pot—a simple yet effective project that will introduce key techniques while encouraging creative expression.

CLAY Beginners Course
Starts w/c 17th February

Over a six week period you will learn the basics of the pottery process. Making, turning, glazing.
​
Your teacher will inspire you to create several items using a range of techniques, in week four you will select a few pieces to progress to fire and glaze.
